How Entrant collects, uses, protects, and deletes personal information across the web app, mobile app, API, and admin operations.

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Entrant is operated by Devnnova Inc. to help people enter, navigate, and settle into a new country with clearer guidance, safer discovery, community support, and practical planning tools. This policy explains the personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, join the waitlist, contact support, complete onboarding, update your profile, use community features, submit Scam Shield checks, save travel plans, book or host a stay, request or offer a service, or use guidance tools.

This may include your name, email address, phone number, password credentials, date of birth, country of origin, destination country, state or province, mission for entering a country, status at entry, gender, profile photo, language preference, location preference, community posts, reports, comments, and support messages.

Depending on the features you use, we may also process:

  • booking and stay details, such as dates, occupancy, listing information, and stay-related communication;
  • payment transaction records, such as amounts, currency, payment status, refunds, and payouts (see Payments and Payouts below);
  • identity and verification records, such as verification status and documents you submit for Trust Passport, hosting, mentoring, or provider roles;
  • direct, group, and booking-related messages you send through Entrant;
  • call records for in-app calls, such as who called whom, when, and for how long — not the content of your conversation; and
  • device and technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, push notification tokens, and diagnostic logs.

2. Location, Navigation, and Device Data

When you use navigation, compass, nearby-place, route-planning, or location-aware guidance features, Entrant may process GPS coordinates, trip origin, destination, transport mode, route estimates, and device sensor information needed to provide those features.

You can disable location access through your device settings, but some navigation and local discovery features may not work without it.

Push notification permissions are optional. If you enable them, we store a device token so we can deliver messages, booking updates, safety alerts, reminders, and account notices. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

3. Payments and Payouts

Payments on Entrant are processed by regulated third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). Your full card number and banking credentials are provided directly to the processor — Entrant does not store them.

We keep records of transactions, refunds, holds, and payouts, and hosts, providers, and contributors who receive payouts may need to provide identity, banking, and tax information to the payment processor to comply with financial regulations.

Transaction records are retained as required for accounting, tax, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.

4. Identity Verification and Trust Passport

Some roles and features — such as hosting on Care Passage, mentoring, providing services, or operating an organization account — require identity or document verification.

Verification may be performed by a specialised third-party provider or reviewed by Entrant's trust and safety team. We process verification outcomes, document types, and submitted documents only for verification, safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Verification documents are handled with restricted access and are not visible to other users. Other users may see only your verification status, such as a verified badge.

5. Messages, Calls, and Community Activity

Messages you send through Entrant are stored so they can be delivered and shown in your conversations. As described in our Terms, messages may be processed, retained, or reviewed where reasonably necessary for delivery, safety, abuse prevention, fraud investigation, support, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

In-app calls are established through Entrant's servers. We process connection metadata needed to place the call; we do not record your calls.

Community content you choose to post may be visible to other users depending on the feature and moderation status.

6. Social Login and Third-Party Services

If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive the profile details needed to authenticate you, such as your provider identifier, name, email address, and verification status. We do not receive your social account password.

Entrant relies on third-party services to operate, each processing data only as needed to provide its function to Entrant:

  • maps, places, directions, and location services;
  • translation and AI-assisted guidance and planning;
  • payment processing and payouts;
  • identity verification;
  • SMS and phone-number verification;
  • email delivery and push notification delivery;
  • file and media storage; and
  • analytics, error monitoring, and hosting.

7. How We Use Information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, personalize country paths, generate onboarding guidance, provide Scam Shield and community safety tools, support navigation and translation features, process bookings and payments, verify identity where required, deliver messages and notifications, respond to support requests, improve product quality, and comply with legal or security obligations.

  • Account and authentication management.
  • Country, mission, status, and profile-based guidance.
  • Bookings, payments, refunds, and payouts.
  • Identity verification, Trust Passport, and role approvals.
  • Safety moderation, reporting, and scam pattern review.
  • Navigation, translation, travel planning, and benefit discovery.
  • Customer support, abuse prevention, audit logs, and service reliability.

8. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us run Entrant, with moderators or administrators who need access for safety and support, with legal authorities when required, or with another party during a merger, acquisition, financing, or business transfer.

When you book or host a stay, or book a service or mentoring session, the other party receives the information reasonably needed for that arrangement — such as your display name, profile photo, verification status, and relevant booking details. Precise details such as a full address are shared only when needed, for example after a booking is confirmed.

Do not place sensitive information such as identity document numbers, banking details, or health information in public profile fields or community posts.

9. Security and Retention

We use access controls, encrypted transport, password hashing, token revocation, administrative permissions, audit logging, and environment-based security practices to protect Entrant data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond responsibly.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain safety records, and operate the platform. You can request deletion as described in our Data Deletion Policy.

10. Children and Younger Users

Entrant is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older, and a higher minimum age or parental authorization may apply where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we may remove an account when we reasonably believe the user is under the minimum permitted age.

Certain features — including hosting or booking accommodation, selling services, and receiving payouts — are restricted to adults, and we may limit messaging, location sharing, or other features to protect younger users.

11. Your Choices and Rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting help@myentrant.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing privacy requests.

You can also update certain profile, preference, language, location, and onboarding details from within the app when those controls are available, and you can control location, camera, microphone, contacts, photo, and notification permissions through your device settings.
